The 100 Words That Decide Your Verbal Score

Most pre-employment aptitude tests — CCAT, Predictive Index, SHL, Cubiks, Alva Labs — lean on the same core set of “hard” vocabulary. Miss those words and your verbal section quietly bleeds points, no matter how sharp your reasoning is.

This course gives you the 100 words we’ve seen appear most often across these tests, and a method built to make them stick.

How it works — the batch-of-10 recall loop

You don’t cram 100 words. You learn them 10 at a time, in a loop designed around how memory actually works:

  1. See them — each batch of 10 comes as flashcards with a plain-English definition and a funny, everyday image that makes the meaning impossible to forget.
  2. Recall under pressure — you take a 30-question quiz on each batch before you feel “ready.” That struggle to recall is what builds lasting memory, and it sends you back to the flashcards exactly when it counts.
  3. Never forget them — every new quiz quietly re-tests words from earlier batches, so by Quiz 10 the first words are permanent.

Practise every question type real tests use: synonyms, antonyms, fill-in-the-blank, analogies, and odd-one-out — the exact formats that gate the verbal sections of most pre-employment tests.
